Information for volunteer software developers.
Would you like to get some experience working on a Scrum team? Scrum is the dominant organizational framework used in software development today, and experience working in a Scrum environment is becoming a basic requirement for serious developers working in the software industry.
Many coding "bootcamps" and other educational institutions help people develop their individual skills. What matters today, however, are team based skills.
Our program offers volunteer developers the chance to work on projects as a team. Our Scrum Masters and Scrum Product Owners in training form Scrum teams from the volunteers and work with them exactly the same way it is done in the "real world". Volunteer developers get valuable experience that is very relevant to the jobs they either have or are looking for.
One thing not to forget is that the work you will do will benefit a worthy cause. Our projects have benefitted kids with Cancer, animal rights advocacy, people makeing the transition away from being Foster children, and medical services for the poor. The gift of time you give now will keep on giving for months or years to come.
Would you like to volunteer? if so, please click here to register. You will be contacted shortly to discuss details and scheduling.
